Real Estate videos are OFFICIALLY THE WAY TO DO THAT.
This isn’t just my opinion either, IT’S MATH!! MATH SAYS VIDEOS GET YOU BUSINESS!!
Within the first 8-15 seconds of your real estate video you want to establish your hook.
“Hey guys welcome to this installment of EAP TV! Today I’m gonna show you how to attract more clients with the perfect real estate video”.
Now let’s dissect exactly what I did there.
I focused on a result all agents are interested in: “attract more clients”.
Then I established exactly how you’ll be attracting those clients: “real estate video”.
So, let’s say you want to attract a seller.
“Today I’m going to explain how an agent using drone video can get your house sold sooner”.
I focused on a result all sellers are interested in: “get your house sold”.
and I mentioned something that can impact that result: “drone video”.
Great. I got their attention with the hook. Now what?!?!? 😀
Average view duration (especially on real estate related content) is often pretty short.
People come to a real estate video looking for what they want then leave (don’t take it personal).
What that means for you however, is following the hook you need to introduce your Real Estate Brand.
The best place to get an affordable video intro is Fiverr.
Even if you don’t actively produce video content…
A branded video intro is something you should definitely have on hand.
Our average view time hovers around 5 minutes.
Which is a pretty good average view time but it took us a while to build it up.
Am I bragging?…Yes…Yes I am…🔥
It took us 1 year to grow from an average of under 3 minutes to over 5.
More than that though I want to make two things very clear:
Consistency is the key to growing your video content
I want you to see the numbers that back up the importance of immediate branding and short videos.
Now, I understand that there are a lot of complex principles you may need to cover.
If your video ABSOLUTELY HAS TO BE longer than 5-8 minutes,
add a linked table of contents in your real estate video description.
Here’s an example
If you’re ever going to do a “Complete Guide To” or an “Everything You Need To Know” piece of content.
You’ll more than likely need to break our keep it short rule.
As soon as someone is done watching one of your videos, you have to tell them EXACTLY what to do.
If you’re not sure what a CTA is, it stands for CALL TO ACTION.
At the end of all of my videos I say “subscribe to our channel”.
Now that’s only half of the equation…
If you’re going to give someone an action to take, make sure there is a clear path to EXECUTION.
As well as a REWARD.
“Click the link below to receive a FREE eBook”
“Make your real estate experience hassle free by clicking the link below”
“Subscribe to see more helpful videos like this one”
Now let me show you one way to accomplish this using YouTube videos.
Aside from adding links in the description you also have the ability to ad “cards” in your videos.
All you have to do is select the URL you want to redirect people back to.
This would be an easy way to have your viewers land on a Squeeze page for custom search for example.
Finally, pick an image and your teaser text and you’re good to go!
Then just select where you want this CTA to pop up in your real estate video.
I’d suggest the midpoint of your video as a safe bet.
Another cool feature is the end screen templates you can use to prompt more real estate video views and subs.
These features are also active on embedded videos that you have on your website.
