Today, I interviewed Kyle Hiscock from Rochester.
Kyle’s successfully grown the amount of traffic and leads to his site over the past few years. And in this interview I break down exactly what he does to run a successful real estate website.
Watch the video above to learn what Kyle has to say!
Given Kyle’s success with his site, let’s take a look at his weekly plan…
You’ll notice that there isn’t anything magical listed above.
There’s nothing that you haven’t read on Easy Agent Pro or any other website.
Kyle attributes his success to consistent execution overtime.
The source for most of Kyle’s posts comes from common questions people ask him.
You hear us talk a lot about his Zillow blog post where he compared Zestimates to actual home sale prices. This post emerged from a Webster, NY homeowner who was confused about her listing price compared to her Zestimate.
I guarantee most of you reading this field similar questions weekly.
But have you written a post about it?
Kyle’s first goal is to honestly answer a question his clients have. And then he focuses on social media and SEO together.
He doesn’t see them as different things.
Take this for an example…
Kyle wrote an article about: Moving To Rochester, NY
The article is honestly answers a question for his clients, landed on the first page of Google for his desired keyword, has over 200 social media shares, and .

The key thing Kyle focuses on is being helpful in order to get the results.
He focuses first on being super helpful. And then knows that social media and SEO are setup for success.
…and that brings us to question 3.
Kyle’s quick to point out that simply publishing a blog isn’t the hard part.
In fact, he says that you’re only 50% done with your work at that point.
Take this post that talks about selling a luxury home for example…
Here’s what Kyle does after he publishes it:
This type of marketing takes time and energy! But the results speak for themselves as the post ranks on Google and has many social shares.
There are many more take aways you can learn from our conversation. Listen to the interview above to hear everything Kyle has to say!
