What free dog food can teach you about selling more houses
Dog food and real estate don't have a lot in common. But there is one major take away you can gather from here. Click to see what it is...
So for those of you who don’t know, this is my wife Sophia and our dog, Butler.
Yup, I’m a pretty lucky guy.
Sophia always reads my articles. And about 20 days ago she started her own blog-based website after reading this post.

Like a lot of you, she never really expected it to make money, get an audience, or turn into anything much. It was just going to be another blog out there right?
Fast forward 20 days, and all of a sudden Sophia gets an email.
This company was offering her and our dog free food with no stipulations! Under 1 month of causally doing things I’ve mentioned on Easy Agent Pro, and she’s already being sponsored.
How could this happen? Why would this company do that?
Well, to that company Sophia and Butler look like rock stars. Something as simple as having a website with fun, useful, or interesting content causes a much different reaction than us simply calling them begging for free dog food.
You see, the current generation of people loves to research things themselves. It makes them feel empowered.
That means if you have a real estate website. You should be using it to empower people to make better real estate decisions.
Imagine these two scenarios:
1) You’re on Facebook and find a post called: “the 10 reasons you shouldn’t sell your own home.” And upon clicking you learn some amazing stats about how FSBOs actually net less money. You then see a popup on that website offering a free no commitment consultation and optin.
2) You’ve just listed your home by yourself after it not selling with a Realtor. You get home after a long day. And are just sitting down to look at Facebook after dinner. A Realtor calls you and starts trying to get you to list with them.
Who of those people do you trust more? For most people it’s the first Realtor. Why? Because they found them through a self-discovery process and that Realtor empowered them to make their own decision.
You want to be that Realtor.
If you’re interested in becoming more like Sophia (and maybe getting some free dog food / real estate leads), starting a website should be on top of your to do list.
In fact we believe in this so much, were willing to setup a free real estate website for you.
