Christmas is almost here and so is a brand new year!
First off, if you’ve blogged all throughout 2016 CONGRATULATIONS!
To commemorate a great year of content creation, we’re bringing you a 12 day blog marathon leading up to Christmas Day.
We went back through our best posts of the year and chose the top 12 to recap.
We’ll take a look at what made these posts successful and hopefully they’ll ignite some new ideas for you to write about in 2017.
Let’s get to it!
We’ve talked about landing pages.
But there was one post that our readers seemed to like best.
And it was this one about setting up two essential landing pages that you can build right now to get more leads.
The two pages we recommended in this post are:
A Seller Lead Home Evaluation Landing Page
A Buyer Lead “Cheatsheet” Landing Page
Have you made these pages yet?
If not, now is the time!
And if so, how have they been performing?
Take a look at your own pages and then read on to see why these two pages are essential to capture quality leads!
Let’s first touch on why a home evaluation landing page for seller leads is a must.
If you’re mainly targeting sellers, a page like this will be your best chance to land the hottest leads.
Because really, people probably aren’t going to spend the time requesting this information unless they’re seriously interested in the results.
Leads who are ready to list are more likely to opt-in with a page like this, so definitely be ready to followup with them.
Let’s also talk more about a “Cheatsheet” page for buyer leads.
Like this one we made with the Squeeze app.
This is an alternative giveaway to the traditional eBook.
It’s a lot easier for buyers, especially first-time buyers, to wrap their heads around a cheatsheet rather than going through an entire eBook guide.
I mean, if they had time for all that there are plenty of other places on the internet for them to grab entire books.
But there won’t be many places for them to get a cheatsheet for buying in their area.
Topics like “Neighborhood Review Sheet” or “What You NEED To Know” are great.
Then all you have to do is make it in Microsoft Word or Pages. Then save it as a PDF.

You may already have blog posts that cover information you can turn into a buyer cheatsheet, or even an eBook that you can condense and repurpose.
If you have a LeadSite, you may want to consider updating some of your pages for next year either way.
Especially now that we’ve dropped 6 additional landing page templates.
This particular writeup is almost more like a full guide to landing pages.
As it also covers how to set them up and the best ways to get viewers to the page in the first place.
Let’s review, here are the top six ways you can drive traffic to the landing pages on your real estate website:
1) Facebook Groups – these groups are an awesome source of traffic!
