Has it really made real estate easier?
It doesn’t take more than a quick trip to Starbucks to notice that everyone’s using it…
Ever seen this?
Those people aren’t reading your ads in the local newspaper…or postcards you’ve mailed.
They’re most likely on Google.
But is it really easier to reach those people?
I’d argue that most agents have tried the standard tactics to get Google traffic. And haven’t quite succeeded.
Today, my goal is to make Google easy for you.
I’d like it to be easy for you to do two things:
But in order to make this easy we first have to debunk a myth…
You can’t cheat it!
You can read tactics about…
All of these are short-sighted ideas that stray from truly helping your eventual clients.
They might work for the weekend, a month, or even 3 months. But eventually you’ll lose your rankings.
Who wants to WORK for something that’ll only last ONE month?
…and here’s the kicker:
Here’s my 3-step guide on how to dominate Google with Keyword Mountains…
The way to win on Google involves creating Keyword Mountains on your website.
What are Keyword Mountains?
They are blogs, InstaFarms, or pages that are solely dedicated to 1 keyword.
They include mountains of text, video, images and listings that help visitors understand that area.
But first
You have to pick the right keyword. Here’s a break down of how keywords work….
Let’s break this down….
Terrible Keyword:
Bad Keyword:
Better Keyword:
Best Keyword:
Do you see the difference between all these keywords?
The ones at the end get very specific about who they’re targeting. Because of this, it’s easier to do two things.
I challenge you to not target your major keywords until 6-12 months after you’ve had your website.
This will give you time to build up credibility online in Google’s eyes.
But where do you put these search words (and phrases)?
The key is using 1 search phrase per blog post, InstaFarm, or page.
Here’s an example…
I want to show up for “Plano Texas Acreages For Sale” on Google.
So, I make an InstaFarm page and use my Find Me app like this:
The Find Me app by Easy Agent Pro guides you to your perfect Keyword Mountain post.
Find Me tells you exactly how much information to put on the Instafarm page and makes smart suggestions for you.
You simply make one page for every keyword you want to rank for!
Here’s a quick video about Find Me:
The final aspect of getting your site to show up on Google is making sure you get a few technical aspects right on your page.
There are a bunch of things that people claim will impact SEO.
A TON.
But here’s a short list of things you should shoot to do after you’ve written your text about your one search phrase:
Step 1) Set your meta description and title using the keyword
Step 2) Check your keyword density and shoot for 1-3%
Step 3) Use the keyword in your url
Step 4) Be sure to link out to other sources
Step 5) Include images and video
Want to make this easy?
Try using Find Me! It does all the math for you. And gives you a green check mark when you’ve done each task.
