Take the free course – stop cold calling with these tips:
Recently we scoured the bookshelves for some cool summer reading material for real estate agents.
Not all of us, however, have the time to sit down with a book. So today we bring you a list of some of the podcasts we think you may be interested in checking out.
All are real estate-related, with enough motivation thrown in to help amp up your productivity.

Real Estate Rockstar Radio with your coach, Borino
Ok, I admit it, I have a soft spot for Borino. First, I’m intrigued by his backstory. Born in “the former communist Czecho-Slovakia, Borino became somewhat of a rebel against the communist regime, earning him a spot on the blacklist, resulting in “no work, no future,” he says on his website.
So, he defected, landing in California at the age of 24, bereft of both money and English language skills. Long story short, he saw an ad for a free real estate school and got his license in 1989 (really rotten timing, Borino).
He lived and worked out of his car for a time before meeting “several people who have changed my life,” among them Tony Robbins and Jay Abraham.
Today Borino is the expired-listing guru with an approach like no other. I discovered his videos on YouTube and fell in love with his relaxed, no-hype, REAL approach to homeowners. Best of all, he can teach you how to do it too.
Follow Borino’s Real Estate Rockstar Radio podcast for real estate agents, especially if you want to be your area’s FSBO and expired listing leader.

Rev Real Estate School | New Real Estate Agent Podcast
Oh, where was this when I was a new agent?! Rev Real Estate School offers brilliant podcast for real estate agents, with tons of new-agent information, such as:
- How to get leads at open houses
- Building trust with real estate buyers
- Real estate agent geo farming plan
- Free marketing ideas for new real estate agents
- Best free real estate agent tools for 2019
Check out the entire list, here. It takes a bit of navigating to get to the non-iTunes version:

Today with Jared James
James learned how to leverage and delegate at an early age. According to his bio he, like lots of kids, had a paper route. Wait… he had EIGHT routes. He took one and outsourced the remaining seven to other kids.
Today, he is a successful coach, speaker, author, the founder of Jared James Enterprises and “recognized as one of the most influential people in the real estate industry today.”
He’s also the host of one kick-butt podcast for real estate agents. His most recent topic, as of this writing, teaches agents How to Deal with Losing a Deal. Other topics covered include Facebook tips, how to compile an email list, content creation and more.
Check them out online at play.google.com (hover over the podcast you’re interested in listening to and click the arrow to the left of the title).

Referrals Podcast
If you checked out our summer reading list you may recognize the name Michael J. Maher, author of “(7L) The Seven Levels of Communication.” Going from “relationships to referrals” is the name of the game in real estate, according to Maher.
He is also the host of the “Referrals” podcast for real estate agents, based on “the (7L) System.” If you are tired of chasing after new business, this may just be the podcast for you. Some of the topics we enjoyed most include:
- Learn the Lifetime Value Client Care System
- Niche Market Referrals
- Grading your Database, Part 1 and Part 2
While the production is spotty in their telephone interviews, the intros are horrendously long and of no value whatsoever (8 minutes of chit chat until the interview starts?) and Angell needs to slow down, the information provided is brilliant.

Pat Hiban’s Real Estate Rockstar Radio
We didn’t choose Pat Hiban’s podcast for inclusion here because he is a New York Times International best-selling author. Or because he went from making a paltry $13,700 his first year in real estate to being crowned the “#1 agent in the world with Keller Williams.”
Sure, that’s impressive, but his podcasts rock. Truly rock.
First, the topics Hiban covers (through interviews with real estate “rockstars”) are near and dear to our hearts, for example:
- Get Predictable Profits by Prospecting Consistently (tips to get listings!)
- Do What You Do Best and Outsource the Rest
- Succeed as a New Solo Agent
- Close 30 Additional Deals Annually with Dean Jackson’s System for Real Estate Referrals
Somewhere deep inside this author, #1 agent and podcast host is a born journalist. The questions he poses to and the details he’s able to elicit from his guests make his podcasts among the most valuable for real estate agents of most we’ve checked out.
See the entire list at hibandigital.com, but we recommend you start with the Ramon Sanchez podcast. What an amazing agent.
