“You need to know about this upcoming thing.”
They’re saying “GIVE ME.”
And “GIVE ME NEVER GETS.”

People don’t want to talk about your real estate business. They don’t want to see your business card.
Think about it:
What use is a business card to someone pouring their cream in their coffee?
ZERO USE. It’s not useful at all. It doesn’t make their life easier, better, quicker, faster, smoother, less painful, or anything!
All people want are things that benefit them. It’s simple.
It simply doesn’t matter!
If you want more attention, pay attention to the things your type of client LOVES.
You have to figure out what makes YOUR target market “tick” and then market to them.
You’re really fortunate! A real estate transaction is worth an awful lot of money…and thus lets you get pretty creative with what you can do for them. Plus, getting a new client typically means more referrals from that client.

The second error that most flyers at coffee shops make is they say too much.
You have 10 seconds (probably less) to attract their attention.
They don’t need to know your life story.
They don’t need to know every detail.
They don’t want to know the whole story. Yet.
The point is to convince them to learn more through taking action. You’ll notice the headline of every single flyer I made gives value. And then immediately tells them how to get that value.
When it comes to “Billboard” or “Flyer” marketing, the money is in the clarity of your message.
This isn’t the time to get “cute” with hashtags.
…or to have a Facebook logo with your Facebook Page URL.
…or to even have your real estate website.
Direct response marketing is all about crafting an offer. And then making the route to obtaining the reward as easy as possible.
