Today we’re going to be discussing how to find quality gigs on Fiverr.com to help your real estate marketing.
The key here is quality. Fiverr’s a GREAT service. But it can be hard to sift through all the gigs.
I’ll show you exactly what I do to have success on there. And help you from getting scammed by bad vendors.
Let’s get into it…
In case you aren’t familiar with Fiverr.com, it’s a website where you can go to buy gigs such as logos, video intros, and generally stuff you can use on your website to market your site.
And, of course, they start at $5 and go up in price from there depending on the specifications of the requests and the expected turnaround time.
Authorityhacker.com also recently wrote up a piece about Fiverr and agree that it’s a great place for busy professionals to go for quick outsourcing because you ultimately save yourself a lot of time not having to vet freelancers. You can read their guide to buying on Fiverr here.
Well:
A great Fiverr gig to take advantage of is having someone design a downloadable PDF flyer that you can use as a giveaway on your website.
Why?
You can get some nice leads by giving them something of value in return. Plus, you can advertise your free guide on Facebook in exchange for leads as well. The way to land these leads is to create a landing page for your freebie.
This is a super useful and relevant freebie that your leads will actually want.
You can upload it to a landing page like this one…and then advertise it on Facebook.
Exactly.
You could spend 5 hours making the pixel perfect PDF.
OR
You could head to Fiver and purchase one for $5-15 dollars!
Here’s how I use Fiverr to find the best gigs possible:
I first open up an MS Word or Google Doc and write the guide.
Don’t overthink this too much. You want something simple and sweet that will provide value and knowledge for your audience.
How about a 1st time Buyers Guide for folks in your area? My recommendation is to start with 5 tips and then include a sentence or two about each. And put the title of your guide in a big headline across the top of the page.
It should look rough…something like this:
Now you’re ready to head over to Fiverr.com and find the perfect design for your guide.
Once you get to the website, go to the Flyers and Posters section.
What you want to do now is narrow the search down…
I look for people with these traits:
These three things usually help you narrow down the field.
And they also help you find mostly professionals on the network. I find that this gives me better end results.
A great way to vet designs you find from qualified sellers based on your criteria is to take a look at their published work.
In fact….
I usually only purchase gigs if there is a previous order I can look at.
Here’s why:
I actually grab a screenshot of their previous work with this free app called Skitch.
I then put my text and mock up directly on top of that screenshot.
Now you can see what looks good and you can take the sample you’ve just created and send it to the seller. This will eliminate a lot of the back and forth that can happen when trying to finalize a design and should save you some time and money.
Make sure to take a look at the packages offered because while the base price is $5 you may need to spend $10 or $15 to get the right one.
