Must-have real estate agent tech gadgets for your Santa list.
With the holidays right around the corner, it's time to start making your wishlist for all the latest real estate agent tech gadgets. What are you hoping for this year?
Naughty or nice, real estate agents deserve something special for the holidays. Especially if that “something” helps with productivity, comfort or security.
So, we came up with a list from which to choose which real estate agent tech gadgets you can’t live without in 2020. Ok, that’s a bit dramatic. Some of these aren’t life changing, but purely for fun.
First on the list of real estate agent tech gadgets just happens to be a life changer for many, a smart speaker. I like the Echo dot for my oh-so-basic needs and its low price tag.
A smart speaker paired with Alexa or Google Assistant, smart plugs and other devices, is catching on with homeowners. Folks love that they can control the thermostat and lights with an Alexa command.
Agents, on the other hand, open a world of new productivity hacks with this little round gal. Connect your calendar and let Alexa keep track of your time, send text messages, create lists, remind you when it is time to start or stop an activity, listen to real estate podcasts and flash briefings and more.
Check out our list of some of the ways you can become more productive with Alexa at the helm, here. Then, learn how to choose which Echo to buy at PCMag.com.
If you use smart speakers to stream music, you’ll probably want to step up to a better-sounding unit, such as the Sonos One, available at Amazon, Best Buy and Target.
Charging stations are one of those products that are so nice to have but we rarely think of buying them for ourselves. Thus, it goes on the list of real estate agent tech gadgets for Santa.
Amble on over to Amazon.com but beware that it’s easy to get lost in the volume of charging stations they offer.
Or, take a tip from the experts at TheWirecutter.com and choose the charging stand that “provides the fastest charge for both iPhone and Android smartphones and holds your phone upright while charging.”
That would be this one, offered by RavPower.
Personally, I like products with better reviews, so I’d go for the YooTech wireless charger. Be aware that your phone won’t stand upright on it, which may be an issue for some. I like the fact that it rates 4.5 stars out of 15,552 ratings and 73 percent are 5-star reviews.
If you use your desktop or laptop for long stretches of time, you may be familiar with the neck and shoulder strain that often lingers for hours or even days.
Avoid the strain by placing your monitor directly in front of you and then raising it so that the middle of the screen is at eye level.
This ergonomic gift will be appreciated by agents who haven’t yet learned how to delegate – or anyone else who spends lots of time in front of a monitor (transaction coordinator?)
A stand is a stand, but we recommend you purchase one that’s adjustable so you can find that sweet spot twixt your eyes and the screen.
Amazon carries a bunch of them. Check them out here.

Now here’s a product that a real estate agent could’ve invented – a plug-in thingy that monitors your car’s health and lets you know about possible problems via an app.
The experts at TomsGuide.com explain it as “a sensor that plugs into an OBD-II port in your car … you just leave it there, since it’s powered by your car.”
FIXD can diagnose nearly 7000 problems that cars (and car owners) face, including:
And a ton more.
If your car is a 1996 model or later, FIXD might just save you from expensive car repairs, leaving you more money for real estate lead generation.
Buy FIXD at Target, Best Buy and on Amazon.com.
Take calls or listen to music in truly wireless fashion. Dump those old earbuds with the dropout problem and get yourself a pair that allows you to listen to music or take calls in truly wireless fashion.
Jabra 65T, the alternative to Apple Ipods, connects to Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant and it boasts 7.5 hours of power from a single charge. And, it comes with the charging case for even more power.
Check out the Digital Trends YouTube review and buy them here, on Amazon.com ($199.99) and BestBuy ($149.95).
No matter what real estate agent tech gadgets you choose to add to your wish list, happy shopping!
By the way, we don’t earn one cent in commission from Amazon when you click on a link. Go for it.
