You can include a call to action in every outgoing email’s P.S. that asks for referrals
– And –
That P.S. can include a link that AUTOMATICALLY writes an email referring your business.
The coolest part is that I’m going to show you exactly how to setup a pre-written email. So that when anybody clicks the link, the referral message is already written! This means all they have to do is enter the email address of the person they want to refer and click send.
Don’t get scared about the tech side of this…it’s super easy with the steps below.

How can you ensure they send you a referral?
Easy. You write the message for them!
Basically:
You can set your PS line in your email signature to ask for a referral. Something like this:
PS: The biggest compliment I can receive is a referral. Click here to help your friend have a smoother real estate transaction.
What you then do, is link up the “Click here” with a code generated from this website:
You can pre-write the email for your clients at the website linked up above.
You’ll want to put your email address in the “CC” line. This ensures that you can followup with any referrals you receive.
By adding your email to the CC line, you’ll also be able to track your real estate referrals.
You’ll actually be able to drip email and track real estate referrals instead of waiting for the call to come in. (And you don’t even need any real estate websites)
Next, you’ll want to pre-write the subject line and body of the email. Be sure to use text that is applicable to buyers and sellers.
You’ll also want to make it gender neutral.
A good message is something like this:
Hey there,
I had a great experience working with Tyler. You should meet him over coffee and discuss your real estate transaction coming up.
Talk later,
The tone is casual and most people won’t mind just plopping their contacts email address in the “To” field.
How many emails do you send per day? Statistics say it is over 40. And if you send real estate newsletters, you send a lot more than that!
Plus, over 11% of Americans Move each year.
That means if you email 50 people per day…
…every other day at least one recipient knows of someone that is moving soon.
When you’re becoming a real estate agent, a single referral could be the difference between making it and breaking it!
Here’s the thing though:
People have to remember that they want to refer you…
Remember at the exact moment when they are thinking of the person they know who is moving soon…
Decide how to tell the other person to work with you…
You don’t know if they referred you or not…you just have to wait for the phone call or message…
And they have to actually write or come up with the message to send…
They are constantly reminded that you are open for real estate referrals through email.
And they already have their email account open when they click the link to email their friends.
Plus, you get the message and the referrals email address. This gives you the advantage of following up with the referral!
