The first step in getting more leads from LinkedIn is having a complete and optimized profile. You can see my thoughts on how to setup the best real estate LinkedIn profile here. This is a very important step. The saying is true:
You only get one chance to make a first impression.
And you want to make a good one as a Realtor. Because there is a lot of competition on LinkedIn if you don’t.
This is the single best thing you can do for your real estate business: Send 10 Connections To People Every Day.
Because once you’re connect with someone, they get all your updates, posts, and you can privately message them. Sick of people not replying to cold emails? Try messaging them through LinkedIn. I’ve gotten a 30% boost in response when sending the same message through LinkedIn.
To connect with people, simply find a group in your location. Navigate to the members page. And start firing away 10-15 connections a day. This is a great way to build your network.

The next thing you should do as a Realtor trying to get leads off of Linkedin is post in groups. There are tons of things you can post. But I recommend researching things that are statistically proven to get more clicks and links. You can do that with Buzzsumo and Topsy.com.
Both of these systems let you research what people are already interested in before writing a post. After you find a popular topic, then re-write it and post it to a LinkedIn group.
You can typically expect about 30 visitors per LinkedIn group post. If you post it in 6 groups, that’s 180 visitors in a day.
Last, but definitely not least, is my favorite LinkedIn tactic.
LinkedIn sends emails to its members weekly about who viewed their profile. So, what if you view like 400 peoples profiles every single day? You’re face, name, and contact info would be emailed to 2,800 people every week. Right?

This method will get you in front of thousands of people. Some of them will connect with you. Others will message you. Either way you’ll be able to start conversations and have phone calls with great leads in your community.
