Are you the person who dreaded English class in High School? And is worried that blogging won’t fit your style?
Today, Sean & I discuss 7 ways you can get the benefits of a real estate blog without a blog. We all know that blogging is one of the best ways to attract visitors. And that you need visitors to your website in order to generate leads.
However, blogs take time to write. These tips might be an easy way to get started in online marketing and give you content to share on the top social networks like: Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, & LinkedIn.
We start by talking about a book you can use as a resource to inspire your brand stories, but it’s not the typical “how to” real estate read you might be expecting. I recently picked up Save The Cat, which focuses on screen and cinema writing.
This kind of book is going to be a lot different than any other text you might pick up on copywriting and that’s a really good thing because you want to stand out from the other agents in your area. Think about it: how many other agents are there in your city? And guess what? They’re all trying to sell the same thing you are.
So, in order to make your way to becoming a top producer, you’ve got to share great stories. And you want to tell them as soon as possible. Asking people to opt-in for access to your awesome story-telling isn’t going to work. Instead, you need to offer it right up front so they see what value is to be gained from working with you. This strategy, like so many marketing tactics, is about Give to Get.
So whether you’re looking to get more SEO traffic or increase social media exposure, sharing your expertise and knowledge upfront will help you get there. And the best part is you don’t even have to write straight blogs to be able to achieve this.
