When it comes to getting more leads, the internet can be your greatest resource. Whether you’re just starting out as an agent, or are a career professional like today’s In The Lead guest Wendy Weir, there’s always a new technique to try out and add to your arsenal for success. But real estate internet marketing can sometimes seem complicated and hard to understand.
For this episode, Sean (bio link) and I (bio link) interviewed Wendy, a Michigan-based real estate national and international relocation specialist who you may recall reading up on in our 10 Best Real Estate Blogs of January post. With a career spanning more than two decades, Wendy discusses how she has used the internet to get more leads and more attention on her business through blogging and social media. Wendy took a big leap and updated her website after 20 years and started using her expert knowledge about renovations and floor plans to create informative and unique content.
While Wendy’s primary goal has been relationship building, both with other industry pros and clients–past, present and future, she’s also been able to grow her business and drive home more quality leads by being active on social media and sharing diverse articles that her local community loves.
