Why?
Well, the vast majority of buyers and sellers are all starting their real estate search online. Yet, most agents STILL don’t get online leads.
Let’s change this by following these 3 rules:
Profiting from your real estate website is not a secret!
These three things are the cornerstone of making it happen online… Let’s get to it:
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but here’s the thing–despite what you’ve been told about your IDX providing enough lead-generating web content, it’s just not good enough anymore.
People don’t need your listings. It’s the year 2016 and listings are free.
Think local and follow these tips:
Going into this, just remember that we’re looking at long-term success here, which means you’re probably not going to make millions overnight.
Online content accumulates views over time.
So what this means is if you publish something today you’ll be getting traffic and leads for that piece of content. And if you also publish something tomorrow, you’ll get traffic and leads for both pieces.
Can you see where this is going? Once you’ve been consistently generating helpful content over time you will see your return begin to grow exponentially.
And your Google Analytics will look like this:
Now that you’re working on producing consistent, helpful content, it’s time to get the word out and market your helpfulness.
But how?
Here’s how I share all my helpful content on Facebook:
Just like we covered in step 1, the trick is simple–If you continue to publish helpful advice and commit to consistently marketing that advice over time, you will get more traffic and more leads.
Do you know how short people’s attention span actually is these days? Especially online? It’s literally less than that of a goldfish. So, if the only thing your site offers is a phone number on your contact page, chances are you’re not getting leads.
First thing’s first: If you don’t have a system in place to be able to automatically follow-up with leads, there’s a good chance you’re going to lose them. To avoid this, make sure your website hooks up to your CRM so when a lead captures they will directly deposit into your CRM.
On to getting those leads…
Below I’ve outlined a couple of things we do on LeadSites to generate more leads for all of our agents.
1) A CTA bar that drops in from the top.
These show up on blog posts and IDX pages to get higher lead conversion from visitors. The cool thing with these CTA’s is that they are one-touch lead capture.
On mobile, you can have the button auto-dial you. And on the computer, they have a conversion optimized form.
2) Slide out contact forms on every site page:
Know the easiest way to get more leads? Have a contact form on every page. Here’s an example from our LeadSites:
3) Header bars that link to a landing page:
4) Use Lead Lock:
Lead Lock lets you instantly turn any page into a landing page.
How? All you have to do is add #LOCK behind any of your blog post URLs, and you’ll then have a landing page that looks like this:
